Gain Access Program (GAP) Assistant Part-time
Job Summary/Purpose: Under the direction of the Gain Access Coordinator, the Gain Access Assistant will demonstrate and ensure that professionalism, safety, respect, policies, rules and regulations for co-workers and shelter guests are maintained at all times.
Daily duties include but are not limited to the

• In agreement with Haven’s Mission Statement.
• Must demonstrate integrity and good moral character.
• A minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision from the Gain Access Coordinator.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to appropriately handle emergency situations.
• Must have basic computer or data entry skills
• Able to work with sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
• Ensure client rules and guidelines are upheld with good judgment.
• Complete all paperwork by the end of your shift.
• Assist the G.A.P. Coordinator in planning and fulfilling activities during program times.
• Communicate relevant information with the Gain Access Coordinator necessary for effective decision • making.
• Work harmoniously and cooperatively with co-workers to develop a positive team spirit that promotes • professional personal growth and pride.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Gain Access Coordinator.
• Complete Intake and exits on all clients entering and leaving the G.A.P. program.

Desk Monitor - Inasmuch House
The Haven of Rest’s Inasmuch House is looking for an enthusiastic, team player for the position
of Desk Monitor.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Greeting guests, assisting with and answering phones
• Assisting current residents with requests, completing intake forms for new residents
• Overseeing activities within the shelter to ensure compliance of rules and guidelines
The successful candidate should have a HS Diploma or GED and a successful work history in the
social or human service field. Must have the ability to work independently, demonstrate integrity
and high moral character, and have the ability to appropriately handle emergency situations.
This is a part-time position with varied scheduled hours and days.
